And... done. If there's any interest I will continue with tips - I'm treating this as a fairly serious thing, trying to be helpful to newcomers to the game while still providing illustrations.

BTW, I call the guy in the third panel Urist McAngry.

So Ledi's been training the cats into an army of disposable warbeasts?  Why did no-one think of this sooner?!
Hellcannon seemed to be constantly on the verge of death and Levergedon before my turn helped, but ultimately what killed it was Ledi's cat army.

You forgot to mention miasma doesn't go though tight corners.  another easy way to block it to do dig into your refuse pile at an angle instead of directly in.

Yeah, I was going to mention it, but it made the text portion of the tip too long. I'll see if I can fit it in without it overpowering the images.

(also, doesn't help that I absolutely hate diagonal moving/digging in the game as it just looks unnatural. XD)

Edit: Here, we go, updated version.

that is awesome, Ledi!  You manage to make dead goblins and miasma look cute :D

The tip of this comic? Don't let mothers with low happiness go out into battle.

You forgot the tantrum/berserk part. How can the newbs tell that the mother went cuckoo, rather than just getting enraged at all enemies and then pulling some nuke lever?

This is awesome. Someone should create a wiki page, or at least upload some of these to the wiki so I can include them in pages.
