Chained + Seek Infant spam

One of my L+5 metalsmiths got blamed for a mandate I forgot to take care of and is now chained (or tied, rope). Problem is she has a baby and can't get to it so my alert screen gets Ast Sheriketur, Metalsmith cancels Seek Infant: Infant inaccessible x >9000

Can I unchain (or untie) her safely by freeing the justice room without the CoTG coming in and chopping off her useful limbs? She has a 90-day prison sentence, I don't think the baby will last that long without the mother.

Uhm yeah. The kid grew up into a child just now, so I guess that particular problem is solved. Somehow.

You could temporary remove the captain from his duty or create a back up and find out yourself. I do not know it.

This is why I have a purely ceremonial (unskilled) CotG, armed with the ceremonial staff of discipline (wooden training spear). Most underwhelming beatings ever.
