Nope. C+. I also recruited him as a sleeper Canine Hero. That's why it's notable.
Something similar happened to me in an old 4.02.3 game, except the Canine Hero was recruited by another sleeper (an agent). Animal rights was definitely not L+.

How does one compile this for Linux? ./configure fails me: no such file or directory. I'm doing it from inside the LCS folder.

Carlos Gustavos said earlier that make install should suffice, IIRC. Not sure myself, but bootstrap, configure, make install worked for me a few weeks ago (before CGs further investigation into the installation).

Anyways, I recruited a guy from an apartment, which then got raided, when the guy was there alone, without an charges. I surrendered and now I am no longer renting a room from there, but the guy is sitting there, happily hacking away. So yeah.

Well, I started a separate bug thread which is still on the first page, but I think the report is going to get noticed here as well.

Of course, if Jon doesn't consider it an absolute overkill for a small project like this, there are bug tracker facilities in SourceForge...

I'd like to post some minor bugs, but I don't know what's already been reported.  Is there a public master list somewhere?

Also, I missed this game.  I'm actually doing well for once.  At least I assume so, since all of the destinations outside of town are currently on High Security.

Mm by the way, I was thinking of adding a graphing tool that would allow tracking the various statistics, like Congress seats (recorded whenever they change), presidential approval (recorded once each month), money situation (once a month) and overall success of the Liberal agenda (whenever laws change). History could be saved for a decade or something. I think it'd be a nice touch, always getting lost in statistics myself...

Sure, why not. I'll get cracking but I need some other recreation first. I'm having a quartal meeting tomorrow, meaning I'll probably wander home slightly intoxicated and possibly not too far from the Ballmer Peak.

EDIT: I'm going to add something else first, namely new NPCs to sites that only have a few different types. Army base will get recruits (weaker soldiers), Military Police (about as badass as normal soldiers, arresters) and SEALs (extremely badass, but not too common). SEALs and Military Police will occasionally appear during military sieges, if the escalation is high enough. Intelligence HQ could have more NPCs as well, and agents should have a fair chance (30% p'haps?) of appearing as socialites (my name is James. Bond).

./bootstrap gives me permission denied. Sudo ./bootstrap tells me that the command doesn't exist.

Huh. I haven't been using Linux for a while, but if I recall correctly I just did what the LINUX_README said. And I think for some reason bootstrap didn't require "./", it was just bootstrap. Don't ask me why it works if it works, I haven't really thought about it.

I think I added the ./ because I had to have it there on my mac. I can't rule out the possibility that I was mistaken and inadvertently screwed up the installation instructions by doing so.

To build lcs, in trunk I enter:
./bootstrap
./configure
make

If I would want to install, I would also enter:
sudo make install

Perhaps it is not set as executable? But I don't recall that giving me permission denied as error. Did you type sudo as Sudo when you tried or did you just put capital S here because it started the sentence?
