Hey guys, remember me?  I have been incapacitated for a while by the fearsome ailment known as "real life."  I'm still awfully busy, but I figure I can spare some time now and then for my all-time favorite game, and my all-time favorite game community.

So what's new?  Have any major changes been made to the game since I was last here?  I've been working today on finishing up that massive pyramid I started a while ago.  I think I can have it done in another week or so with my given time constraints.  Anyone still interested in downloading it?  It's really freakin' huge.

Hello, man, I don't remember you because I'm somewhat new here.
How long have you been out? There were some major changes, like basic dwarven relations (feud or friendship -> marriage), some nice interface improvements, customizable size of generated worlds and a lot of fixes, for example artifacts now are usable (creator leaves the art. in the workshop instead of grabbing it, though if anyone takes artifact armor/weapon in his possession, he won't drop it -)).
Read the development page and you'll see A LOT of changes.

Now the army arc is coming, with marching armies and stuff. For now Toady completed the generation of roads between towns. We're waiting for the release in the future.

About the changes in the commuinty - there's a new part of forum especially for community fortresses, and also there's a new type of comm. fortress - the pirate ship. It inspired even me to make my own ship, you can see it here

There have certainly been a lot of changes... I think the main change is the new Story section of the forum for community games and succession games etc.

Aw, I sure did miss you guys.

It looks like none of the changes made so far will ruin my pyramid, so I'll finish it as quickly as I can and upload it for all to decorate and enjoy.  I like that 3d visualizer someone made, I'm gonna use that to show you how awesome it is.

I am still working on the novelization of our QAGS game, though I don't have as much spare time lately as I used to have for working on it.  When it is done, I shall let you all know.

By the way, does anyone here happen to live in Germany?  I want to move there but I'm having a hard time finding an in.  Right now I've got my fingers crossed that I'll get into one of the grad school programs I'm applying to, but if that falls through, does anyone have any suggestions?

I often get some "random" thoughts when browsing the forums and this time I've decided to turture you with them.

First about your title: The Legendary Female Gamer.
Do you have any solid proof you really exist. I mean, there is some loonies out there claiming they've seen one, but no one has yet produced any solid proof.

And second, since Toady was at expanding the forum, he could add another sub forum for the fantasy species and we could put The legendary Female Gamer(s) in there, if what we have is actualy them, beyond any doubt.
