Ochita: Coastal village top left, I will assume #1 ?

This can be used as a reference for other players to give me their starting location.

Also, should there be another thread for the turns and actual gameplay?

4 isn't a fishing community.

If you still wish to be in the inhospitable North-West, I suggest 1.
By inhospitable, I mean to say that creatures from the North frequently raid there, the weather is also pretty bad.

I want to start at either 5, 7 or 8. Hard to decide. Take 8.

I want to leave 8 and live a life in the forest.

I will travel to the forest northwest of 8.

I have altered the OP to include the names of the towns, some information on them and where each is located for easier navigation.

I just realized that I derped very hard by keeping the names and history in my head and completely disregarding the fact that you guys aren't able to see what is in my head.

Fishing equipment, especially in a coastal town, is cheap. You may buy a harpoon for 1 silver. A polearm could be easily improvised using a stick. Javelins on the other hand, like mos weapons, are either in the possession of soldiers from Tverdgorod or in the fortress-city itself, which can be reached by foot by midnight if you set out in the morning.

You notice a very frail man buy harpoons. He stands out by his outlandish looks, most possibly and outsider.

They seem odd to your hands, heavy and rustic. Unlike the equipment you are used to handling.
Sadly you do not find that kind of store in such a community.
