Jimmitheking, did you have everything installed properly? I'd suggest either moving the Blockade Runner folder to the desktop or some other folder outside of the Programs' directory, and make sure you have it running as administrator.

Other problems besides those are usually rare, and have to do with incompatible hardware instead of the game itself.  Check the Support forum from the BR website to get more help, omae.

Jimmitheking, try right-clicking the BR shortcut/.exe and selecting 'Run As Administrator', as see if that changes anything.

I don't know about this game. I will maybe buy it once multiplayer is put in, because it sounds like it'll be really interesting once something like that is put in.

And some anti-grief mechanic, for the matter. the last thing you want is a community similar to Ace of Spades's.
*Shivers* That was a good game too, would've been enjoyable if it weren't for the mass grief fest.

the game is geared toward co-op they say. I guess single player is a possibility then.

it seems that they are going for a man for every station approach, which is nice but can get boring if you are the belly gunner for the one hundredth turn.

The game will be completely open for singleplayer, co-op, and full multiplayer support.  NPC crew members are already a planned feature, so you can control everything in even a big ship from a single location if need-be, or if that's what you'd most enjoy.

While multiplayer is a big planned feature of the game, the Dev's have decided that instead of rushing and putting in multiplayer, like Notch did with MineCraft, the game is going to be a bit more developed and playable before it goes in.   8)  Just to let you guys know.

I'll put up my happy hat then. Never much liked anything multiplayer (It's not that I'm antisocial it's just because of time constraints)

Looks like I spoke too soon. The next update is now scheduled for January.

Good news is we get a video very soon (maybe this week?) that shows us just what the heck they have been working on.  ;)

Well, there is a video now.

I don't have the words to describe how disappointed I am that that's all they're working on for months.

Poltifar, you know how disappointed I am thinking you didn't read the thread that Micah had opened for that video?  That isn't what they've been working on.  That's a side project he's been working on personally.
