Is there a way to "un-notify" a thread I posted in? I want to trim my "updates" list so i doesn't show threads I posted once in months ago.

Profile, Modify Profile, Notifications. There's a list of notifications, which you can check off to unsubscribe. Above that is the options, if you want to change how you receive notifications.

Thx nice to know but it doesn't quite do what I really wanted it to do, i.e to clarify -

My issue is in the "show new replies to your posts" part, I want to be able to trim the threads that appear here.

Wow. Just noticed that page.
I think that's just a list of new replies in topics you have also replied to. The only way for something to not show up there is if you've seen the new replies or haven't posted somewhere. You then can't trim that list.
If that is the case, I'd recommend switching over to notifications instead of checking that list. It's a much more manageable system.

You do not subscribe to those posts, so you cannot unsubscribe .

I've never checked it either, thanks for notifying me hehe. I always used notifications.
