Not. Don't have it. I'm kind of waiting for that free offer from the OP, but otherwise I'll probably end up downloading it eventually if these games become more commen.

Well, you use Ironclad online. You have to be fully updated, and to do that you need Impulse.


Also, I think Comp can agree that the hard AI cheats. ;)

No kidding it cheats. So. Many. Capital ships...

Last game I was doing ok, Orb ended up destroying both of my caps (I was going pure bomber) and nicked my volcanic. At the same time as my fleet was distracted, pirate raiders attacked my homeworld, and an AI attacked my asteroid.

Needless to say, I lost my fleet, my asteroid, my homeworld was fine (Bombers are amazing), the volcanic planet was lost, and it went down hill from there.

Ended up spamming disciples in an attempt to have a cannon fodder kind of defense, and it worked. That is, until the Teal TEC (which took the roid) kept doing attack runs, then finally decided to attack me all out (two or three caps, so many frigates.) and the pirates jumped in too...

Fun game.
