I also expected better from these forums.  But I guess it's been some time since way back when the letters "HFS" was treated with any kind of secrecy and respect.  So I suppose I should have expected it.

Jay you have my utmost respect, perhaps I missed something.  But do you have a source for that?    From what I heard on the unofficial fan forums from blue himself, they didn't cause the leak. 

And if they didn't cause the first barely functional one, I don't see why they would cause the "practically done" version leak.

I don't have a direct link to the devs saying so for the second, but I've seen it paraphrased in several locations now.

AFAIK it was some guy from facepunch who first acquired both leaks, and then spread it out.

This is game is insanely good and I would gladly pay more than 10 dollars/pounds for it.
