Heck I already don't want this game not because I think it will be poor but because the community is so mind ogglingly annoying I am afraid I'll see them again.

Singleplayer/private server? If this becomes minecraft you'll run into the fans whether you have the game or not as everyone will be talking about it, so I don't quite see your point here. I'll concede that the fans could be stupid but there isn't much you can do about that without making it a terrible game.

No I mean the fans are so horrible it has developed into an outright phobia. I can't look at Terraria the same way... The Horror!

Keep in mind, they made it in 4 months from scratch and already got more features than barely finished Minecraft - Notch is just too lazy to end the game (wolf patch, what the heck is that?).
