... the eater's the only one we've seen that doesn't actually fly, innit? Just jumps rather high, so to speak? If so, I imagine the number you can solo is highly correlated to either the number of bombs you can fit in your inventory... or the number of sand blocks. I could totally see building a little platform juuust out of reach of the poor thing, then dropping an inventory of sand on it. Bonus points if you have a few extra chests full of sand waiting there for you.

Someone else could be running around on the ground summoning more and more eaters.

Nah, you should do all different bosses at once. I.e. summon the Big Eater at near-nighttime, lure him toward the dungeon, and at nightfall summon iCthulhu and Skeletron. Bonus points for doing in amidst a goblin siege, and during a Blood Moon. More bonus points for using no special-material weapons. Even more bonus points for using no purchased items. Ultimate bonus points for using no ranged weapons in addition to all that. Should be a good enough challenge for a dwarf.

Huh. So appearently PBat didn't give up on Terraria... He's uploaded Ep.26 and Ep.27 today.

(Off to spend another hour of my life watching these until the game comes out. :-\ :D)

Yeah, I don't really know what to make of it. Maybe he went all emo then changed his mind.

I'd lay 50/50 odds the fiasco in his interim minecraft video had something to do with it :P

What fiasco? I only go as close to PBat's stuff as Terraria fandom requires.

You mean the coins dropping? He seemed rather chill over that. Or the grapple thing, which he seemed chill with in the next video. He seemed optimistic about doing some multiplayer videos.

That blurb from Blue actually lended to the confusion more than clearing it up.

In other news, I made a thread about basically a moonwalking key for the game. At one point in game your movement became locked when you left clicked. This is no longer the case in the alpha, according to Blue, who posted in thread. So if anyone was wondering why you haven't seen anyone moonwalking while attacking, that's it. It's a part of balance that they're looking at.

Nah, the thing where he spent about an hour hunting diamonds in minecraft, then falls into lava with 5 in his inventory on the way back up. In the last ~5 minutes of the video. It was harsh, hah.

Only reason I knew about it was the SA folks making a little noise about it happening, heh. The occurrence in question.

(removed leak link and discussion about leak and requests for leaked version)

Until somebody posts a sourced confirmation in here that the devs want people downloading the game, do not link to, request, etc. anything in here.

Toady I'm sorry for the confusion, it was a joke by the authors of the game :s I would never actually post a leaked game.

Heh, looks like someone took your bait.

For the curious, the link he put up was the developers trolling their userbase. It acts like it's going to start a download then redirects you to nyan-cat.

I just thought it was very funny, and was trying to redirect that trolling to you guys.
