No idea. Me and Jay were just digging down. I think you just need to go long enough, like a bloodmoon, but rarer.

Also: grenades > worms. Bitch blew into a billion parts much faster then any giant eye. Didn't get scales though  :(

EDIT: Wait, yes I did! Went into my empty slot. Let's go get a pick axe, then some sweet meteor ore!

Aphrodite A and Tengen Toppa Yoko W Tank come to mind...

Also, you can mine meteorite with a gold pick, it just takes four hits.

Also, has anybody else run across the surface of the water when you are at full speed with Hermes boots and have flippers on?

No, a molten pickaxe is made from metiorite bars. It is almost twice as good as the nightmare pickaxe, and glows with fire!

They should give Eater of Worms an immunity to Vilethorn :P Solo'd 3 of them in fifteen minutes with that spiny wand.

Also, meteorite landed one screen to the left from my house, but that's taken care of for now.

So I have molten pickaxe, because it's simply the best, and rest of tools/weps is demonite. I just need demonite helmet...

Any ideas how to solo Skeletron besides the roof fighthing tactic?

400 HP + meteorite armor + blue ball on the chain (I don't know the name, watch Pbat's LP, a developer has it) = dead skeletron.
