You can scumsave at drinking in a fountain until you get a wish and ask "farm" so you obtain a deed for one, this way no need to delete your character if the sum asked for a farm is way too high at that point of your game.

Sadly there are no fountains left due to fire drakes. My farmer dwarf has no skills to make easy money.
Mining, cooking, and gardening is about it.

There are fountains in every towns, so if you ruined Vernis with that special sword, you can go to Palmia or Derphy
Fountains can spawn in the puppy cave too, so getting in/out to regenerate the 1st floor until you find one is possible too.

Also, destroying a fountain in town will result in it respawning at the next town reset cycle (about once a week I think?). Not only does it respawn, but it respawns full, which means if it gets empty, destroying it is a viable option if you have the required skills, as opposed to refilling with potions (which only works for a few refills anyway).

That said, I wouldn't go back to Vernis any time soon.

Only exception to this rule is the special 'holy well' in Noyel, which is coded differently and so destroying it won't change how many charges it has left [it's a global variable shared by all holy wells, rather than attached to each individual one; even wiz-mode duplicates shared the same charge pool from what I read]

So I enter a level 6 forest dungeon during an Ether Wind.

"Never done this before and I'm using a Wizard mode Character - best test it out before I use someone normal and lose everything, eh?"

First two floors are normal. Dead stuff, corpses, gathering spots, about 10 pieces of equips just from drops. . .

Floor 3, and I feel like I walked into the world map, because it has basically the same setup as a rogue boss ambush, except no rogue boss and they're elea instead of rogue Warriors/Wizards/Marksmen. And all female, apparently. Also two nurses plus a mummy. I catch an Elea Soldier, and Nurse in monster balls.

Next floor looks nor-THAT'S WHAT, 15 ZOMBIES RIGHT OFF SCREEN? WTFBBQFIREBREATHISNTKILLINGTHEMWHATDOIDO! . . . Gun them all down, of course. While evading giants who are running at the speed of dark, too. Oh, and a cupid of love starts bothering me again, so I catch it. That means I have an Elea Soldier, Elea  Wizard, Nurse, Cupid of Love, and military putit all in monster balls. All female. . . -_-'

Final floor. Okay, a. . . LEVEL 16! RED WASP! WITH. . . no menacing name. WTF. He doesn't even insult me like usual! Well, one shot this giant and. . . . . .



There are more Putits than there are tiles that my character can even see at once. . .

Must. Have. ALL THE PUTITS.

Can't you just get a never ending army by throwing a few in ranches you can raise your charisma that way as well from the tasty jerky

but anyway looking over the bestiary in Elona+ they have a lot of new God Inside (w/e)
Devastate Luluwy/Insane Kumiromi/Buildup Opatos/Deus ex manina/Blessed Jure/Hyper Yacatect

Also if anyone get a Insane book let me know what you think of the pets you get out of it, it seems to be bugged in the english mode of the mod.

1.19. It still has the super attacks, but they're less common. Go back a few pages and you'll find the link. Beware, the axfc website has terrible ads and will scar your soul. I distinctly remember being dumb about that. And it's not that unplayable.... okay, maybe a little.

Also if anyone get a Insane book let me know what you think of the pets you get out of it, it seems to be bugged in the english mode of the mod.

Apparently you gotta wish for something so they're useless unless you have nothing left to wish for. None of them sound very good except the M girl or something. But that's after a quick look at the wiki pages, so ignore me if you like.

Where do I grab version 1.9? 1.20-1.23 was on the japanese wiki frontpage, but i can't seem to find where to get 1.9. Also, what would I be missing out on?

a single of the tutorial putits taking off 90% of your hp in one super attack(which they get often) is "just a little"?

As a level 25 melee-archer with 7 pets, even though I do think it's a little extreme, I say it doesn't make melee unplayable in its entirety. I can get into some good melee fights and survive even solo (I.E arena), even when they use super attacks.

I think the main problem is not knowing how to use the super attacks yourself, I suspect its a key of some sort but left untranslated and the player tends to fill the special bar pretty fast...ok according to the changelog the main charecter can activate it, however...you need to be above 6/7th of your health, so a healing potion and/or healing spells will be almost vital

As of 1.20, the conditions to activate these have greatly changed. There is now a gauge below your HP bar. If the gauge reaches 100%, you will automatically trigger your special skill on your next attack.
