I've got a quick question. I can't find the Elona + download, searching it up on google leads to a page full of Japanese.
http://wikiwiki.jp/elonaplus/?Elona%A1%DC%B9%B9%BF%B7%BE%F5%B6%B7#r47ac5d7
Andapparently those aren't download links, maybe an "update list" from what I can gather?
Anyone help?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it by translating the entire page to "English" and then translating the entire page of lame google english translations into coherent english.
Currently porting my stuff over :> I hope my blessed mass 2d39 battle axe makes it.

My first marriage in Elona+... a Noyel Horse, for the purpose to be sold to that pervert in Port Kapul.

The marriage gifts? Along with the usual great items and a potion of cure corruption, a tight rope.

(You can use a tight rope to suicide) ;D

You can also use the iron maiden for this, which I found out recently (much to my dismay and great surprise).
And using suicide tools doesn't seem to raise any skills.

It's not fully translated, no. But from my understanding, you really won't notice unless you're worshipping the new god or in South Tyris, and since you have to finish all of the standard "story" for that first... it could be a while. You may as well hop in now, especially if you're starting over with a new character.

There's some character outside of the cyberdome with yet-to-be-translated dialogue.
On a side note, it seems that throwing a love potion at little girls sometimes drops the item "milk of little girl." Is this new or did I just miss this somehow?

Yup, and it's in vanilla. You may miss though, so it's best to mix it with food.

So, is there any reason when doing the whole 'drinks' for money thing that this innkeeper decides to randomly attack or be attacked by assorted villagers, and/or yell about 'I swear I don't know that girl!'? It is confusing and just ruins the mood! I'm trying to get someone to marry me but having a difficult time with it..

The quests are pretty nice, too. The people you trade with for 'I Want It!' can be a bit too picky at times though!

EDIT: And now I (on accident) set a bunch of people on fire with Fire Breath. Fun.

EDIT2: "I want to give my kid [garbage] as a birthday present! I'll pay you 921 gold pieces and ore in exchange!"

They've gone mad... so anything goes. More profit for you if the dead guy dropped loot!

The "I Want It" list is not a very large one... furniture (these can be harder to find), wands, books, ores (but not ore pieces), food. You will soon remember about what to keep for these quests. A bunch of those items have 0 or close to 0 weight, so you can gather as many as you want.

When you get the option to trade from the townspeople, take the chance and trade other items from them too (e.g. when they have a nice weapon, or more ores). Buying ores from stores will also give you a profit.

If you have too much ore to carry, you can give them to your pets. You cannot take them back though, so pay attention. When you are in town your pets would sell those ores (for far more than you can) and train their skill potential.

Huh huh huh, you haven't see it all yet. :3

Some of the great things I've seen as birthday gifts for kids:
- worthless fake gold bar
- shit
- rod of summon monster
- broken vase
- actually, almost every junk item you can find lying around in fields

How can you trade their weapons, anyway? Whenever I select armor or weapon they say "Are you kidding?" and reject.
Also, you have a chance of making "dish of roast XXX" when you kill something with fire breath. Saw this first when I roasted a few putits in the putit house within Vernis.

You have to have something of equal or higher value. Scrolls of oracle and wonder, potions of cure corruption, the cooler box, and treasure maps are all valuable in trading, but they're probably of more use to you than the NPC.

Oh, I actually meant when trading. One person wanted some type of fish, and the guy didn't even want the spellbooks or Oracle Scrolls I was trying to trade him for it!

I have seen a "shit" being requested as a birthday gift. I kid you not.
