Well, taking everything else about the game into account, I'm not surprised at all. I think that game is just beyond surprising me.

Some of them are, others are actually a handicap. If he picked an actual cat race, that probably is a handicap more than a cheat. Remember cats don't have all their equip slots and fairly poor stats if I recall.

They've got average stats, poor Will and Magic I think but high Charisma.
That means that sooner or later some townspeople will decide that a cat is fine too.

Win Combat Stupid, has always been a fave of mine. Ray of Gay Jay is also cool, and there are a few more in there I'll vote for when the above 2 aren't in the list.

After catching a Ether wind while i was wandering in the wilderness, i got "gravity" disease, leading my character to be overweighted.

Very annoying, and as i used already the cure corruption potion given in the message to the king quest, i went to Palmia to play Blackjack, as from the wiki, you need to win 4 times in a row to get such a potion again.

And wow, i must be unlucky or something, but the amount of time the bank managed to reach a 21 and breaking my win streaks was rather amazing.

So at some point i went to read a bit more spoiler and noticing the hint to potion of hero that increase dexterity : you can cheat in those blackjack games with your chance to avoid detection being dependant on dexterity. That's great that i had a collection of unused hero potion then.

And i noticed that the cheating ability in Blackjack was actually not badly implemented, because it's not an auto win, but more of a card re-roll, meaning that if you're really really unlucky, cheating will take time.

Finally after 3 streaks of win, i managed to use the cheating ability and re-roll a card that would have led the bank to break my streak if not changed.
Ah no more gravity disease !

I always use all my casino chips when I feel lucky (mewmewmewmewmewmewmew!). It's a HUGE boost to luck and it was pretty much impossible for me to lose, as any cards that would have made me bust were thrown back and just a lot of luckier-than-normal blackjacks. Got me 4 cure corruption potions, one of which is blessed.

I got around 5 in my house. Ether disease isn't a problem if you got some casino chips. Corruption is overrated.

I have this "you have grown feather" syptom. It reduces your weight by -20% and increases your speed by 16. You can't wear cloaks though. I have 157 speed thanks to this syptom and I'm not a fairy.
