I am seriously considering turning on extra races to play a Cat Pianist. Then fight by proxy of never-ending pet waves.
That gives me the best mental image. Of just a small cat playing a equally small piano, while waves of pets rush to help it.

Unfortunately it's still a grand piano. But the cat still can carry it fairly well. Also a pretty lulzworthy mental image.
Also it's a bit bad that I can only approximate the sprite by making it a catgirl, but whatever.

It that case, you need to pick the Catgod option.  I believe that character is a catgirl.

No. That would be kind of cheating.

Some of them are, others are actually a handicap. If he picked an actual cat race, that probably is a handicap more than a cheat. Remember cats don't have all their equip slots and fairly poor stats if I recall.

I never tried to do the nuke Palmia quest until now, and after reading on the wiki that after a while town and townfolks are respawning anyways, why not give a try.
So as i had enough money, i accepted the quest.

... but how do you carry that nuke, its weight is 120 , way much more than what my character and his strength of 30 can carry apparently ?

As i couldn't carry it, i dropped it on the floor, next to the guy that gave me the quest, and used it then started to run :)
At least i saw the explosion before it took my character out too (wish i had some escape scroll at such point).
After respawning i went to see the damage, and wow, they were not really kidding with that kind of engine, funny to see that apparently the nuke explosion that was very close to him didn't disturbed the guy that is guarding the thief guild entrance.

Though i noticed some townfolks respawning, and they weren't really happy with me, as they started to run after me quickly :D

You need to have enough HP, Healing and Weight Lifting so that you can move a square on the world map without getting crushed. Then you pick it up and travel. If you are dying, enter the map (press ENTER), drop the bomb and heal up. Rinse and repeat.

It won't be easy for your low strength and probably low Weight Lifting character.

You need to read the wiki again! There's a way to completely avoid damage from the nuke.

Weight Lifting
Ah, that's the problem, thanks !

My character do not have this skill, i was always wondering why despite he had a very good amount of strength he couldn't have much items before going overweighted quickly.
That was because i didn't noticed that Weight Lifting wasn't a default skill for every kind of character.

Will have to find a trainer and spend those numerous platinium coin i was always wondering where to use.

Yes, but unfortunately i didn't have the necessary scrolls  t the time i decided to give a try or cared to prepare my escape in advance, as i haven't noticed before hand the mention of the 10 turns countdown limit in the wiki entry :D

Weight lifting alone won't solve your problem though... my current character did the Red Blossom quest rather late. She was around level 30, has around 87 Str, 68 Con, 109 Life, 399 HP, Weight Lifting at 45.

Granted I didn't bother to drop my items first (was constantly at burdened to train Weight Lifting), but carrying the bomb still hurts me so I had to rest after moving several map squares.

I see, nuclear adventures will have to wait for more character development then, being only at level 9 , only 30 strength and no weight lifting skill, there's a long way to walk before getting there.

Everybody should do the nuke quest. Secret treasure of the wicked is very important if you want to make 1 million GP in less than a hour.

Would the scroll of 'Turn something into a weaker material' help if you managed to turn the nuke into paper?

I'd say the best way would be getting some of those "scrolls of flying", since they reduce an item's weight by 15% (25% if blessed).

Inferior Material scrolls don't work on nukes, I'm guessing it's the same for change/superior material scrolls and material kits.

I did this quest by dropping all my items in my house.

They've got average stats, poor Will and Magic I think but high Charisma.
That means that sooner or later some townspeople will decide that a cat is fine too.
