no blessed water is too important to just uncurse an item.

Use uncurse scrolls instead, much more common.

Bless your best items instead.

I just found out the gun is made of Ether.... Good thing I have a bunch of potions of cure corruption.

I say give it to a bell or something. Changing the material isn't worth the risk unless the randart effects are really exceptional.

What does the ether material give it? More damage? The darkness damage? Protections?

Also, what does blessing an item do to armor/gun/ect.?

If you have blessed water, mix it with a stack of oracle scrolls, like 10 of them. Oracle scrolls are mostly useless to you but are worth a lot at base value (thousands). You keep them until you find an NPC hero with a super item you want.

My 1d63 darkness damage protection from thieves ether pistol? Cost 12 blessed scrolls of oracle. Would of easily cost me hundreds of thousands of gold to buy in a shop.

But why are you so weak if you're a Juere Claymore?
I'm guessing a low strength during the reroll on character creation.

The ether mat's the source of the base damage value and the speed bonus. It's just never worth using ether items; you can never be too careful when it comes to ether disease, and those spare potions have a great trade value. If you had a superior material scroll then sure, you could try that, but in that case the item probably isn't worth it anyway.

Besides, kcwong is right. If it were a multi-roll gun instead of a pistol it'd scale a bit better with extremely fast pets and such, but as it is, it's not all that great. If you're still in the early game it'd probably still do fine though.

Well, I'm level 17 and it's letting me oneshot things in the rank 40 of the arena, so I'm gonna keep it for a while. About how much does the ether material boost the damage? 5,10,20?

Okay, i'll try and remember that stuff. I'm constantly burdened! anyway, and i've only about one thing that weighs over 1.s or whatever the weighting thing is.

My boots are resisting all my uncurse scrolls, so i'm just trying to reduct the material then eat them.

I think i'll get that jeweller thing, some cooking and the ones which pay for themselves.

Which reminds me, what are those moongates for? To look at the pretty stuff inside?

Moongates are cool. Some of them send you to treasure piles you can't interact. Some of them send you to wishing rooms with tons of enemies that cast the single most gamebreakingly beneficial spell for you when used repeatedly, and can split to produce more wishes. Some of them send you to rooms with custom creature pedestals. And... most of them send you to kill zones.

My str is 26.

I don't see... Ah. I'm generating gravity.

Other than oracle scrolls, is there anything else worth blessing?

Bless any cursed potions of corruption, and stacks of blessed inferior material are nice as they become more like normal material, which can really charge up your furniture value.

Aha.

Is pickpocket in skills?

I can't really do much without overcasting yet.

Going to look for chips so I can rid myself of this weight.

The effects of blessing are in the ingame help menu, I think.

You mean specific to each item?

I'm stockpiling scrolls and such. It's a pity chips are really rare atm...

So i'm trading and investing until I can buy a house near Port then increase my monies by cargo-ing snowmans & Crimble trees, so I can invest in the potion shop and eventually buy myself a cure corruption or two.

Are you talking about casino chips? Because if you lose, you can just exit out of the game and it will bring you to the point that you entered town. Easy save scumming.

Starting to cook. Often poisonous.

Going to go to the place with all those foundtains and hope for something good.

Best way to level up cooking is, bashing fruit trees, collecting the fruits, cooking them all and selling them.

Fishing works well too for cooking training. Or run around the wilderness and pick tons of api nuts, healthy leaves, and edible plants. Main thing is just cook everything you can get your hands on.
