You get out your laptop and do some research. You get nothing. The internet seems to be talking about it but there is no solid facts and wikipedia says nothing.

Hmm. You should wait for facts to form. It's closing time.

May as well pick up a few groceries and supplies while we're at the store once we close up shop for the night!

[Fniff]

You get some food and such, and pay for it with your own money. You close up the shop, and leave.

On the way, you see a hobo holding a sign saying "The End Is Nigh!"

You go into your house, lock the doors and head to sleep.

Day 2.

You wake up in your bed. You feel a bit groggy.

[Knave]

Get ready for work. Listen to the news while you drink a big cup of coffee!

[Fniff]

You get into some proper clothes. The coffee scalds you again. On the other hand. Not a lucky start. You decide to settle for milk, and sit down on your couch to watch the news.

"BREAKING NEWS!" The TV shouts.

"There has been a new development in the China-American Incident! Another terrorist has been found who has said he was working for the Chinese government! Already fragile negotiations broke down and fights happened between diplomats. In other news, several people have been found wandering around in the streets of Unity, a small town in the Midwest." Hey, that's your town! "They appear to suffer from an unknown mental illness which involves unreal thoughts, visions or voices surrounding an aberrant inability to remember significant events or facts exaggerated by erratic, highly energetic speech or behavior. More information at 11."

Shit, you have to go to work!

Oh shit! Can't be late! Race to work!

Maybe we'll see more of those symbol wearing Asians!

[Fniff]

You rush off to work, managing to make it in time. You sit down at your store, sighing from the sprint you took to get here.

Then another goddamn bomb goes off, this time down the street. The store shakes. Stuff falls over. You can hear screaming outside.

You run out to see what is going on.

Hmm. This isn't a normal bomb. There seems to be some sort of gas spreading around. And people seem to be dying from it.

Oh shit. It's some sort of biological weapon!

RUN!!!

[Fniff]

You run down the street, trying to outrun the gas. A car almost hits you, but you dodge out of the way. You scramble into a building and hide. The gas isn't coming in. You hear more explosions.

Continue to hide.

[Fniff]

You continue to hide for about 20 minutes, until you notice that the gas is leaking in oh shit oh shit!
