30 Days To Hell

The idea is that the world you know is going to end in 30 days. You can choose to flee the country, join an End Of The World cult or just watch the world fall apart. No matter what you do, you cannot prevent the end. You can only barely escape it, or die screaming.

You are dreaming again.

These dreams have been happening for a while. You are in your house, watching the sun come up. It seems too lucid to be a mere dream. You feel like you are living on borrowed time, a theme which goes throughout the entire dream.

The ceiling slowly disappears as you raise from the ground, gaining steadily. You see suburban neighborhoods, skyscrapers and slums. Something passes you, and you watch as it is all destroyed.

By this point, you always wake up.

You are on the couch, and the TV is still on, blaring it's usual nonsense. The TV remote is glued to your hand by sweat. You shake it off. Your back feels weird from sleeping in the wrong position.

Coughing as you go, you stumble to turn the TV off. It is now off. You continue stumbling, but now to get some milk. You pour yourself a glass, and feel better. You seem to have slept for about 8 hours.
