Use the spam as a throwing weapon. The wet smack of the fake meat would horrify any undisciplined enemies.

Dessert is ROAST SPAM and ENEMY sweetbread.

Carry on as normal, but notice that he has a tendency to narrowly avoid dying in horrible accidents. Armok is pissed but the overseer has at least as much power over what happens in the fortress and doesn't want to lose the only furnace operator who can keep pace with the fortress' master fletcher.

WWUD if he was ordered to stand on the catapult range as part of a poorly explained science experiment?
