Nothing. His poor, imprisoned dwarven mother made him into a pickaxe so he could do something useful in his life, then used him to kill herself.

Neglect to do it, especially when ordered to. Dwarves are perfectly capable of killing themselves by doing exactly what they weren't supposed to, so he'll just wander outside during a siege.

WWUD if everyone else in the fortress was actually an elf, living like dwarves?
