I'm in the beta as well. I'm Thendash on there like usual. Anybody want to play some AoE2? I miss that game so much!

I might be up for some Conquerors at some point, but school owns my soul for the next week.

That would be excellent, if I can get the game to install and patch properly. My os is on a small ssd while all my programs are on a separate hdd but the patch won't work because "conqueror's expansion is not installed" on my computer. GAH! Why not let me manually direct you to the exe and prove you wrong instead of just not letting me patch you stupid thing!
Edit: Got it working so I'm good to go whenever. Now to re-learn the flush, me and my buddy perfected it back in the day before the zone went down. I remember peaking at about a 9-10 minute feudal time.

I think you just make a party and it automatically puts all party members in a virtual LAN.

Tunngle. IMO it was pretty decent, just never got much momentum. Didn't have the extra social network stuff, but it had more public listings (with options to be hidden) and rooms and stuff that I thought were pretty good.

Its only 7 and vista atm. They are working on xp but Linux support might be a long shot. In other news, I have 5 invites but I'm saving some to see if friends are interested for now, so I'll dish 2 out.

What is this, I don't even.
It's not an emulator.
It never made a claim of being an emulator.
Where could you possibly get the idea that it's an emulator?
It is Hamachi with a social network (very similar to Xfire in that regard).  If you don't know what Hamachi is, you probably won't find a use for it personally, but it is not useless.

So umm. Is it just the beta, or where can I find options to:

Change my username in IM mode
Disable the annoying "beloop!" sound
Make IM notifications pop up ingame (I've been playing some M&B Warband and Hammerfight while people were signing in and out and the popup was stuck behind the game)

Maybe I should go read some instructions, because I haven't found a single rightclick any menu or options anywhere so far.
