I'm kinda tempted to ask you to swap Pious and John's stats, but I won't. I'm sure much fun will be had with the supposed-to-be-badass Storm Trooper's low bravery.

The Disco Bandit starts with an overdeveloped sense of self preservation, quite fitting.

BTW, I find Travis bragging about starting wars and killing lots of people to be out of character for him, Seeing as hes not really proud of any of it, but I'll let it slide.

Then he'll be different in the future. While this is ostensibly a serious story, humor is still ingrained in its every fiber. (That's a lot of big words, wow I didn't even know I knew some of them.) Thus, characters on occasion act differently for the sake of a joke. And if you'll look back you'll see I actually did make a very weak, poorly explained reason for why this happens in-universe.

But the point is, he acted that way once, he won't in the future. He'll be the guy you described him as.

Hudson seemed a bit too confident at first. But then I remembered that most of his best lines came after he had seen the vast majority of the marines wiped out in a few minutes. If he survives long enough he should be back to his freaking-out ways in no time. I give my full support to this rendition of Hudson!

So.... Are all of us wearing red shirts as far as this LP is concerned?

This is an X-Com LP with little savescumming and, I believe, superhuman difficulty.

We're going to die, yes.

Some of us might live to the end of this LP. If I remember correctly, Stitch made it pretty far before he (she?) bit it.

I think that may have been largely due to playstyle; Uriel or whoever covered for her retreat at least once, and she didn't have an especially good kill count past the beginning, presumably due to not really being on the front lines (or at least first on the front lines).
