Did you know about rocks? They're classed as toys, but can't be pushed. This means your norns will try to push them, fail, and thus not use toys. The pushable rocks agent can solve this problem.

I do love this game. I once managed to train a norn to be quite intelligent (fulfilled all needs by himself, looked for food if none locally, ran away from crowded areas etc.) and the awesome thing was he kept giving other norns advice!

Okay guys, let's start this up again! (Now with more pictures!)
Here is our first batch of eggs:

Well wait no more. Here we go! 1 male Harley, 1 male fallow, 1 male magma, 1 female fallow, 1 female astro, 1 male siamese, 1 female magma, and 1 female zebra


After a few minutes we have our first birth! He's a crossbreed between a fallow norn and an astro norn! Not to special but every birth helps our goal of creating the GREATEST NORN EVAR!


Sadly, we also get our first death. Seems the female magma norn was unable to workout how some ship gizmo's worked and starved to death at the bottom level of the ship


That minor setback is soon made up for by another birth! This time it's a cross between a fallow norn and a zebra norn. With all this crossbreeding going on who know what we might eventually end up with?


Amazingly, we have three more births in a short period of time (we must be really lucky)
first off is a fallow/siamese cross:

Sadly she's hiding behind a pillar.
Second is a Astro/fallow crossbreed!

Fourth, is a magma/zebra cross. Sadly I lost the picture.

Things are going well. Cross your fingers.

Hardman norns are pretty epic and bondi norns just end up devouring entire spaceships worth of critters.

Well, when this is all over it sure will be hard to find a pure breed Norm. If they even exist at this stage.

I am really interested in how your Norn offspring behave. From what I remember, they usually, because of random mutations, turn out to be much more stupid than their parents. I had one which couldn't eat because it constantly tried to push food instead and no amount of slapping or petting could convince it to do otherwise.

And don't even ask about the gene splicer. Using it on them is almost inhumane.

The thing is because of how genetics work you can even get norns who simply cannot live because of their genetics.

The game also has some genes that cannot be altered until many MANY generations.

The Letsplayer is quite brave. Usually my first move in Creatures is to dump the Gendel and Ettin eggs into water.

Though for a letsplay I guess that is poor conduct. It would be like playing a strategy game and removing the enemy computer characters.
