Get commander, mini boss and pose as an adventuring squad. Look for quest hooks. Also get levels in Bard.

You get level with an annoying bard, get a level for a non-annoying one, and Send out the Commander with the miniboss as a adventurer squad to grab artifactorial quest hooks.

You do many things. there is the sound of surprised peasant death from the north gate, so theres either ninjas prepared to get you, or the Commando Minions have arrived.

The Adventure Squad returns with a barrelful of useless nicknacks deemed 'artifacts' by idiot villagers and gold. Well, at least it wasn't their fault this time...

Meanwhile, you hear the sounds of more surprised death, some kind of muffled anguished noise, and a smoke bomb.
Then another smoke bomb, and a Commando Minion lands on top of a ninja who landed on top of you.

"Well hello sir! Sorry about the surprise entrance, but it was indeed ninjas you heard yesterday. Me and Jim are here, though, so no worries for you!"
