You are The Antagonist! You are in the kingdom of Qwebzob, about to steal some object of great importance; thus causing some unlucky random guy to have to go on some long quest to get it back from you for some reason.

What was the thing, again?

Ah yes, THAT thing! You take a right, push a sleeping guard out the window, throw a loudmouth fancy-dressed person into the castle moat, and blast open the runelocked doors. After retrieving The Dark Sword of Kaz'hul'bark, you stab the nearest guard and use his now dark-powered zombieness to scare the crap out of everyone else while walking out unchallenged.

We don't have to personally read the list, we could hire a minion to do that and have him/her/it point out relevant parts at times.

You hire a five year old to read the list, then after thinking about that for a second, also hire a 10 year old to make sure the 5 year old is actually reading it right.

After that, you hire the 5 cheapest minions you can get due to a severe lack of funding. They have leather shorts and semi-transparent visored helmets. Having minions with actual armor was too expensive, and apparently shirts are worth more than pants in the minion market.
