No armed dwarf. What do I do?

(what is it with the axedwarves always surviving having both arms chopped off?)

Anyway, is there any use for a dwarf with no arms? I won't mind a little modding.

The only thing I can think of is making him fortress guard.

Cut off his legs.  Dig a hole in front of your entrance.  Name him Phil.  Put him in hole to guard against thieves and ambushes.

Or you could do without the hole.  Just put him in front of your entrance and call him Matt.

I honored the sacrifice of my armless solder to promote him to a baron. There not much to do, just making silly demands.

Remember around here somewhere we did some experimenting with the armless... think we discovered they counldt even be used as book keeper or manager. think you could use him as a broker tho...

This is dwarf fortress. Just because some one has been horribly... horribly maimed does not mean they can not go on to lead a full and productive life.

Cavern exploration is clearly this fine dwarf's calling.

i remember, someone who disabled all of their armless guy's jobs, and just set him as his own militia captain...ended up using all of his available time training as a biter kicker and such, apparently he was quite badass
