I came to the funeral a year early.  Clearly, I am the high lord of Internet Cool.

Dude, it is cool to be about 15 months late.

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks ED is way better than OhInternet. This Site deserves to live. :D

Sadly not.

This Site deserves to live.

I really disagree with you.

Eh, what's it matter if it does? I don't really like the site, it's stupidly offensive. Every time I read it I just can't help but think these guys are trying too hard. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. If people want their horrible catalog of memes, whatever.

No using. That's not what freedom is for.

Hum. Perhaps I phrased that poorly?

In my mind the word ‘deserves’ implies some special right or that it should exist.

I believe it should not exist, but I do not believe it should be stopped from existing.

I see it that way: ED has been an idea at some point and I think every idea deserves to exist for various reasons. Especially when the idea has enough followers to actually let it evolve into something real, like a website. So I don't see any reason to take that website off the net ( well okay you could actually bring up some financial reasons but besides of them there are none ) because if you don't like that particular website, you don't have to visit it and therefore can ignore it.

Plus I kinda like the humor.

Internet cesspit that it was/is I've found it more informative on certain subjects than the original wiki. Don't sites like it provide some kind of balance to the internet? I'm not ever certain that was a serious question.

You will never find a more detailed and informative article on say Tim Buckley than ED's, on any other wiki in the world. It will live on, the dumb bitch who hosted it before just sold out.

After reading the 'new ED', I do say, when ED was still ED the articles were far funnier.

ED may have been a porn-infected hellhole, but it was extremely useful for trying to figure out what the hell channers were talking about. It was also funny.

It was a necessary evil. And now its mirror has been bookmarked.

I got curious and checked on that ED link if they had a page about OhInternet. Apparently everyone who still uses ED heats it.

Wow. So you are going to be paying the 100 bucks out of your pocket per month to keep a place like that open when all it nets you is abuse?

Sweet.

She paid nothing, ED was donator and ad driven for it's entire existence.

Even on the mirror they admitted, and I quote, 'it was bleeding dollars from every available orifice.'

The adds flopped and donators (think about it, the only people who would want to donate do not really seem the giving type eh?) were simply not enough.
