Newb in need of help

So I was hanging out in fortress mode. I'd just finished my to-be farm, and was working towards a steady alcohol supply. Then I notice a red C in the upper left corner. Tried to look it up in the wiki, but to no avail. Can anyone explain it to me?

[S] means sparring.
[H] means hunting.

They're different reports. A letter in the corner means a report you haven't read has happened, such as new combat, sparring, etc. To view the reports, hit 'r', and it'll bring up the list of them.

Shamelessly copy pasted from the last thread that asked this question. Next time you should use the search feature. You'd get your answer more quickly, generally.

Did you search for reports, by chance?  I don't think searching the forums for the letter "C" would do much XD

But yeah, forum search is pretty difficult if you don't what you're searching for before-hand.

I'm sorry, guys - I usually try the search but in this case I couldn't think of any fitting search terms.  :(
