Funny goblin civilization

I added some more plants to df, including potato. It seems that one of goblin civilizations take it to their symbol.



And i just have this mental image of bunch of goblins trying to decide which symbol would be most meanest and terrifying to be put on war banners and stuff to scare their enemies... and in the end they come up with potato? And then name their civilization as The Terror of Weight ... it sounds like they are planning to attack some overweight people by throwing them with potatoes.

Well, to be fair, if you leave it alone in the dark it sprouts eyes and disturbing tentacles. Maybe they have a stylized, tentacle monster version?

Naaah, their cooking recipes consist of cutting the potatoes in rectangles and frying them in oil. You can see where "Terror of Weight" comes from - "FEAR, MY FELLOW GOBLINS, FOR OBESITY IS UPON YOU ! "

Just wait till they ally with "The golden Arch" whose symbol is a steak in a bun ... Then they'll be truly fearsome.
