Yep, you still have it. Though it starts on the ship. Also, The shotgun training falls under Extra training with the charge bonus.

Well, I've waited long enough...

Palladium mining colony, Ibraxis, Tharon system.

The Bone legion has set up a couple of checkpoints at the entrances to the colony, with the colonist going about their daliy business mining the ore or supporting the miners. The Red Dawn is in orbit, fully crewed apart from the detachment on the ground.

Nothing of interest is happening of late.

Karres sat on a crate, a non-alcoholic drink in one hand and a small packet of food in the other, keeping watch on the north checkpoint like he was ordered to. Iseri, meanwhile, was inside the small prefab barracks located nearby, doing maintenance on her weapons. "See anything?" she yelled out the window to him. "Still clear," he reported, taking a drink. "When's our shift over?" She glanced over at the computer on the table to her left. "Looks like a few hours." Karres sighed. "Hear anything from anyone?" "Nope. Whatcha thinking about?" Iseri asked, cleaning the ejection port on her Revenant. "Nothing really, can't complain. Easy work, decent pay, got a nice girl," he said, giving her a smile before turning his eyes back to the road.

"Just bored, huh. I hear ya." She loaded a new thermal clip into the machine gun and attached it to the back of her armor, then went over to sit on the windowsill. "Safety still on on your rifle?" Karres laughed softly and shook his head. "Yeah. Thanks for reminding me. I always forget that." He made a note to remember to turn that off the next time a firefight broke out. "You want to come out and sit with me? I still have some refreshments left," he said, holding up the drink. "Sure, why not leave the comfortable, air-conditioned hut," she said teasingly and swung her legs out the open window, then dropped lightly to the ground and joined him on the crate. "Four eyes are better than two anyway," she said, taking some of his food and turning to watch the road too.

 Otasu goes inside the facility to check the equipment and any possible upgrades for it, yelling at lazy workers and guards on the way there.
 "By the way, how long did this colony belong to you, Taric? Also who did it belong to before?"

Cain lazyily looked out from his checkpoint at the eastern ridge "goddammit im cold and lonely... hell its almost colder then when my onmi tool exploded, aw shit im going crazy, i mean thats what talking to yourself means, right?"

Kah'rosh grummbled to himself as he sat in the damned hoverchair at his checkpoint, freaking stupid biotics breaking his back. He shook his head to clear himself of those thoughts and looked around useing his sniper rifle's scope for any movement in the distance.

Fredrick looked arond from his vantage point on the cliff overlooking the base. He reached down to grab his Comm after checking each check point once more, and pushed the button saying " Its all clear from what I can see. I will keep an eye out, but I din't think anyone is going to attack us all the way out here." with that finished he sets the radio down, and continues looking for any commotion at any of the checkpoints.

Marcus was kind of surprised, actually. One day, he was some guy with soldier training and skill in the medical arts, next he was a Lieutenant or founder or something of a merc group. Odd, huh? Right now, he was watching over the southern entrance to a mining colony. Boring stuff, nothing even happened. "All clear down here." He said over his radio, before ending the transmission and sighing in boredom. "One more day, one day less."

"Never, we just got hired for security detail"

Mine checkpoint: Karres, Iseri. [58] (5) A truck rolls up and stops at the checkpoint. These trucks are used to ferry the ore to the docks.

1st Docks Checkpoint: Kah'rosh, Cain. [31=Kah'rosh, 85=Cain] (5=Kah'rosh, 12=Cain) A couple of freighters land in the docking area. Opening the cargo bay for the materials and the other dropping in some more workers, with a few trucks that are starting up to go get the ore. Cain notices that there are a few skilled specialists among this group as well. No threats in the area as well.

2nd Dock checkpoint: Marcus. [33] (7) You are nearly caught flat-footed by the arriving freighters, you don't get a good view of them though.

Nearby vantage point: Frederick: [94] (10) You see a couple of Kowtoon class freighters landing in the colony dock, one of them configured for a few passengers to be carried in a bit more comfort than the average quarters.

Colony center: Otasu. [91] (8) You find several flaws in the equipment of the mine, all of which you know you could improve to much greater levels of efficiency.

Events:
Migrants have arrived. Population of colony is 840. Adding 41 migrants to population.
Freighter has arrived, amount of ore to be shipped: 3200 Units. Projected profit from ore sale: 64000 Credits.
