I found portal 1 to be very relaxed, so I wasn't expecting a huge challenge out of portal 2, the only time I got stumped was with the puzzle where you funneled the blue gel through the funnel. I spent a while trying to get the gel to go on the angled bad before realizing I was supposed to just use the funnel to get to the ceiling and drop out of it instead.
Expert puzzles would really have been a nice addition for something to do after the story is over, but I wasn't really expecting them to be there... that said, it was a really amazing game.

Sadly it isn't me but if it stopped running generic FPS's and started running Portal 2 it could test like it's me. Look down, back up, where are you? You're in a chamber designed by the computer your computer could test like. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's a dispenser tube with that companion cube you love. Look again, the cube is now moon dust. Anything is possible when your computer runs Portal 2 and not a generic FPS.

No.  I was trying to solve the puzzle without traveling through a portal (beyond "step through it to be at the exit").

On the topic of the ending, I think that you may have been thrust right into another puzzle because she leaves you with a companion cube (and when have companion cubes ever been used for anything other than puzzles?)

The companion cube has only ever been used for two test rooms. The latter being a spiteful joke on GLaDOS' part. So that's really not a pattern.

Since it's at least 270 years after the seven hour war...unlikely.  Not impossible though given the gman's habit of putting gordon in stasis.

I see, that could still put it at a mere 250- years after Half-Life 2 since it doesn't start until after all the children from before the suppression field was erected have grown into adults. Glados took control of aperture before the portal storms even began and according to the comic Chell was the first test subject.


Hmmmm, I just can't fudge the numbers enough though. Damn you valve for denying me this ship!

If I might point out- the whole point of the ships is the whole teleporting aspect. If it can't teleport, there's no need to take it out to sea anyway.
