When you change your class, you can use one 'skillset' you already know.

So a White Mage turning into a White Wizard can use both the 'White Magic' skillset and whatever I decide to name the White Wizard's skillset. Likewise, if you turn into a Paladin you can still use White Magic, same with Red Mage. Then once the Tier 2 job changes into a more advanced job (Tier 3, which will probably be the last one), you can either choose to use White Magic or the Tier 2's skillset.

Well fuck. Spend the leftover cash on booze.

[1]You spend the 180 Gil your battling partners left with you on getting drunk inside the tavern. You belch Fire, and the barman kicks you out before you burn the entire place down.

Attack PGS2; shank him in the ribs if possible.

[Accuracy = ∞ Hit!] [Damage - 8] You jump forward and bring your knife to bear, jamming it straight through Goblin B/2's his ribs. Ah, the sweet sound of punctured lungs!

Fiiiiiiine
Attack goblin A.

[Accuracy = ∞ Hit!] [Damage - 6] You bring your sword down in a generic slashing motion, smiting the weakened Goblin A. Good for you!

I skewer the second goblin.

[Accuracy = ∞ Hit!] [Damage - 9] Running at the last enemy standing,  you draw your sword back with both hands and jam it into his chest. He turns completely red and disappears. A victory fanfare sounds off inside your brain, apparently.

You won!

Spoils:
30 EXP.
20 AP.
28 Gil.

Celebrate victory! Then go and find more goblins in the hopes Ochita can learn Goblin Punch.

It'll be good for him. You might even call it a learning experience. :3

EDIT: I'm disappointed in myself. I really should have said "You might even call it... 8) ...a learning experience."

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

I lead the party on a goblin hunt in the direction of the caves. (Everyone knows that a fighter should be in front, as our superior armor would prevent any traps from instantly killing the more vulnerable party members.)

YEAH, MORE BATTLES!

(We should probably have something like, random encounters are speeded though or something. We give a plan or something, and then its executed...)

That'd probably be for the best Ochita, as an RtD Final Fantasy probably would get kind of grindy in the long run. Maybe an alternate source of EXP and AP other than long battles would be better. I don't know yet, but I'm open to ideas.

Noah does a sort of dance involving raising his arms up and down very quickly. Then the rest of you rally around Nurir because he is clearly your meatshield.

I lead the party on a goblin hunt in the direction of the caves. (Everyone knows that a fighter should be in front, as our superior armor would prevent any traps from instantly killing the more vulnerable party members.)

[6] Back to the word map, you lead your party bravely towards the northeastern caves. It's a relatively short trip actually. You don't see any monsters around at all. In fact, you are completely unaccosted the entire 2 day trip to the cave. Thus, you set up temporary camp outside the pitch black entrance.

Karma dictates you're going to get shanked by a boss the moment you step foot into the cave. Of course, you guys being level 1, he'll be rather easy and probably vulnerable to status effects!

Your two options are:
A) Enter the cave and confront the first boss for EXCITEMENT, EXPERIENCE and LOOT! (because random encounter grinding is boring)
B) Stay outside and grind some moar in preparation. Probably involving Ochita's quick battle solution.

Try to convince the others to grind for three battles. Attempt to Steal in the first battle and Mug in the second; other than that, always attack the lowest-HP enemy OR one that someone else targeted the same turn.

Maybe we could try a gambit system similar to FF12, that is, set up a series of conditions and run battles that way? For example:

Something like that, anyway. Just an idea.
