Still, I think we should keep the base building aspect and combine it with a deathmatch based thing. It'd be fun. Plus, we can easily make cars. Two by two Cs'!

It's mediocre, at best.

And I think the deathmatch thing is best handled with Goldeneye.

I still like the mobster theme. Two teams of mobsters, base building, rendered in ASCII.

How about a third team in the 007 themed game?

C'mon, it could be the Italian Mafia or any other regular crime organization! Even the Unione Corse!

What kind of bases would the teams build? Would the agents even need one?

Correct. And a bunch of agents would need a single large safehouse or a small bunch of safehouses.

Agents vs. Mafia.

It's an... uh... well, best I can compare it to is spies vs. mercs from splinter cell, with attack/defend game type. The mobsters build their defenses, in a sort of RTS theme, and the Agents invade it in a ASCII rouge-like mode.

Any other ideas besides story?

Would the goal of the agents be infiltration? If so, how would their location be kept secret from the other team?

Actually, I had the perfect idea for having a game version of The Thing. Y'know, Antarctic base, paranoia and other things occurring.


And as for Infiltration...
Why not do it in separate IRC channels? It's easier.

I think phantom would be right. I'm a bit bumfuzzled though.
