We already have it handled with the portal to the kitty dimension. Plus, they'd fly out and be totally useless due to The Fniff Principle.

While I am aware that this probably will not get rid of the silicon men, let us see what will happen if we give the tech hungry sand golems the secret of rocket based space travel and tell them about the vast technological treasures waiting to be found on the silicon moon.

we cannot affect the silicon moon directly, nor, indirectly.Right?
BUT
we can set into effect a serise of events that indirectly-indirectly
influence the destruction of Silicon or it's inhabitants
SO
lets advance three of our current Races to the point of
space travel or mystical teleport
UNFORTUNATELY
these three races will most possibly wipe each other so
Once The 3 Races
kill each other advance two more so that they can learn from them
advance  faster w/out our help and take on Silicon
EXPECT

B - Some weird catastrophic event to happen
C - The 3 Killing all other Races before killing each other
