Well, what's the problem you're having?

I cannot participate in the democratic process (no options appear when trying to register a standing vote for a position) and requesting an unoccupied position displays the message to everyone that it worked, but does not actually assign the position.

As such, only the (president?) universe overseer (empire founder) has the authority to actually DO anything. I mined stone and farmed nuts and vegetables a bit though.

I went to reset my account, but it seems I'm not getting any emails at all from Hazeron.  Judging by the most recent changelogs, there's been an issue with that...anyone else having trouble?

I would suggest using only dictatorship or was it theocracy i think? there is only a few government type that actually works.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Theocracy also relies on voting. I'd say monarchy, simply because people don't have to take offered positions.

You know, it seems it not working on here isn't as terrible a thing as I thought it was anymore, considering.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I can't make my people fly and meet the health requirements. What raises health?
Apparently longer legs work.

Making anything longer or thicker raises the maximum health. You have a maximum of 80 possible hit points last I checked. Also, the more hit points you have, the hungrier your character is (although acquiring food is pretty trivial so it's not much of an issue).

Oh, and the max HP with wings is like 50 or something.

Ok, digging my new home system so far. Through sheer chance, my homeworld is actually a large moon orbiting a gas giant. Makes for some amazing visuals! The gas giant, of course, has unofficially been named Armok.

Looking into the sky, I can see several other gas giants, three or four of them. One is actually quite close to Armok in stellar terms; it blocks part of the sun just about every day.

In another amazing coincidence, I spawned high in the mountains, high enough that I can pass the lower cloud layer in places simply by walking around. I know dwarves are supposed to live under mountains, not on top of them, but I figured it made a good place for my capital.

And perhaps I was just logged in at a slow time, but there was very little noticeable lag. Aside from the horrifically powerful creatures that kill me on a regular basis, I'm really enjoying my latest foray into SoH.

When you get a capitol, would you perhaps be willing to post a password here so people could join?

If anyone wants to join a primitive nation of small and easily killed creatures, the "Kobold Duchy" will be open for the next 10-12 hours.

Edit: Right, need a government center before it shows up in any lists. I'll be in channel "Bay 12" to invite if I'm online, once I can get back online.

OK, for some reason I can't log in.

it stops working at the 'getting account info'.

it's not that it stops responding, it just doesn't get past that phase.

it is doing that for me as well.

The character creator is massively exploitable. You can make species with every attribute maxed and over 1800 HP (if you don't take flying or jumping). Of course, there are downsides to getting ludicrous HP, so you probably don't want to.
