lol

Why the obsession with republics and democracy?

I'd be interested in joining a B12 empire, so long as everyone doesn't go inactive again.
That's the thing - if we can control the empire without the founders going active (i.e. not like this round, i guess :/) so we can't have an empire where you can't change the two main folks. I think republic/democracy type might be best.

But: Name suggestions?

The Legion of Armok

I propose that if we do this, we move to the edge of the main part of space as soon as possible.

This just in: The Tymas-Foundation War (PTMC having already been defeated) has been halted and a truce arranged due to a sudden, devastating outbreak of galactic plague.

...wat.

Also, NUMBERZero has also deigned to return. I guess Hazeron really is his life. I fully expect him to fuck up any PTMC-Tymas cease-fire in short order and get his whole empire curbstomped.

Plagues everywhere, rats in the storerooms, no one is safe.

No one.

Plague everywhere, the galaxy is doomed! Make your time!

Seriously, the plague is freaking everywhere, there is no safety. And it's quite devastating.

It probably has to do with population density.

Don't worry, if you don't get plagued, the vermin will surely find you.

Funny enough, I have one planet that's producing more food than the vermin can choke down. I'm assuming it's either sheer production, or they aren't actually consuming any food.

Yeah. No plague or vermin on almost all of my worlds, so far. I've had level 1 vermin showing up on one world a couple hours after the update, where they're not a major problem (I can safely ignore them, the problem isn't getting any worse).

Level 11 vermin also tried to appear on another world several hours later, but immediately starved to death.

When I attempted to travel through a wormhole in order to go back to my home system, my ship become trapped in a sun, yet unharmed, with all its systems nonfunctional, and I was left unable to move around.

A lot of people have gone into limbo, leaving them unable to deal with the plague, which is a rather problematic outcome, but on the plus side, some people have reported entire plagued systems going into limbo, which means they shouldn't decay. :P

I logged on to see what happened to my cities, and 2 of them had vermin, but nothing too bad as i was producing more food than they were consuming. I still cranked up the pharmaceuticals production, and then after a couple reports, i notice something new : an epidemic lvl 30 in my capital city. A few reports later, half of my capital's population is dead, and i have no way of preventing it since i need TL 30 antitoxin (which is far too high for me).

This sneak update was completely stupid imo.

This game looks rather interesting, but unfortunately I'm having problems with the server, as I'm sure everyone has at one point. I can't find anything that says how to fix it, though it might just be because I'm not looking hard enough.

Basically, I'll go to join a random empire or create my own. If I go to join an empire, no matter which it is, it says it has no capital city and no newbie emperor could be found. (No idea what that means.)

If I try to make my own, it goes through the whole process, and then just sits there saying "Logging in!". Forever. I left it on my computer for about two hours, came back, no error, nothing. Just still there.

Has this happened to anyone before?
