I'll have to look into this "confiscating money" thing, we couldnt do that back when i last played. What i did do however, was trade valuables back and forth, making absurd amounts of money as the demand dropped and raised in response. Is that still possible ?

Sounds like a good way for you to get familiar with how war - done well - actually works in Hazeron. You already learned that ships vs laser bases = dead ships.

I've played before, I'm well aware.  I'm also well aware that going up against TL32 laser bases with no troops, no shields, and no spammable ships is not a winning proposition.

Hmm, there appear to be a couple of mobs repeatedly killing me as soon as I spawn in - and nothing I do will damage them at all.

Will have to try and build laser cannons in between spawning and dying.

Unfun.

Produce guns, especially rifles. Some of the most ferocious creatures on my homeworld have been defeated using those. I still haven't faced any Titans however...I WANT REVENGE.

Titans were/are OP. I've raged about them before, so I won't do so again. I just wish to see another one so I can shoot it.

They're still floating around apparently. A good rifle clip should kill them.

No, Titans are what I named an indigenous species on my homeworld for their bizarre appearance and ability to murder players (ie: me) repeatedly as they spawn. Nothing to do with megabeasts.

I miss having worlds with giant creatures.

Things I learned from retaking my capital from rebels armed with deadly laser bases, with the help of The Scout and whoever plays Alfie:
They don't much care if small vehicles, such as space transports packed with marines, approach.
Soldiers sitting around are highly apathetic.
Respawning soldiers are violent.
I should never be allowed to pilot anything if there are other people on board and there's no nav console.

Soldier shoots a random space fighter, DECLARE WAR ON THAT EMPIRE!

To be fair, a lot of games are like that, especially 4X titles where war can be declared at the drop of a hat.

I took my revenge tonight. Twice. And yet it still is not enough.

Each dead titan drops four "corpses". I want at least two dozen flags made from those corpses before I will begin to be satisfied.

So I remember trying this awhile ago and whilst the idea seemed nice enough, the unbelievable lag caused by what seemed to be a poorly optimised network code put me completely off it.

Has that been fixed at all?
