Laws and Crowns

Great string band with controversial content and an awful (or "industrial") vocalist.

I was going to share this piece of relatable content.

But every time I do, someone recommends this equally good production so I'll save you the time.

Go watch both.

I called it!  I knew I recognized the voice and also the sound.

Every year has its share of people decrying it.
But he is doing so very well, and also accurately and in our language.
I'm [that phrase for taking joy from someone else's achievement] of that legacy.

Edit: Also the production values deserve some admiration.  Sure a b&w spotty filter is easy, but it is cut and edited well.
Edit2: Also I don't know how difficult it might be to make a b&w filter to look right

Anyway, I've always had a weakness for "pop" vocals.  Maybe it's the autotune, but I'm 31 so I think the catchy lyrics and electronica are a big part of it.
But the instrumentals always felt a bit boring.

Did somebody say pop metal?

Amaranthe - Boomerang
Amaranthe - The Nexus
Amaranthe - Electroheart
Amaranthe - Drop Dead Cynical

Off the top of my head, those are the songs that most fit with your post. :p
I could share more metal and more pop, but I prefer to boost this.

Edit: Third track in particular

A song for the workers who made the rockets

At this point I'm just demonstrating how eclectic my tastes are.  All genres to various degrees, I even like some country.   It's hardly worse than the jpop and kpop I've shared.  Anyway I'll stop this break of forum... decorum.
