Listening to Fallout soundtracks when suddenly stumbling upon some good old Comedian Harmonists.

Makes me wish for a Fallout set in Europe just so i can hear this on the pipboy radio:

Comedian Harmonists - Irgendwo auf der Welt (Somewhere in the World)

Comedian Harmonists - mein kleiner Grüner Kaktus (My little Green Cactus)

Comedian Harmonists - Die Bar zum Krokodil (The Crocodile Bar)

That is pretty Fallout.

Modern Fallout.
Fallout was about a surviving a dead world.  Even Fallout 2 was about BEING a dead world, against remnants of the old world.
This... THIS was the epitome of hope, in Fallout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkoA2iC7LCU&list=PLC0C2A6BCA6040BC8

A final Canticle for Leibiwitz.

It's like I said before.  Fallout is about the final gasp of America.  The music is, was, and should be the forlorn howls of a dead civilization.  It's like hearing the cars on the highway, when hiking in the present day
except they aren't real.

They're gone.

This one didn't want to be who they was. On the Surface – it was a dull, unconsidered sadness. But everything changed. Which implied everything could change.

Can anyone recommend me some genuinely scary atmospheric music? I've already got Silent Hill, Pathologic, Thief, and Stalker (movie) OST queued up.
