Here's the full album that track was from if you want to listen to it sometime.

I seem to be making a lot of playlists for YT lately, not that it's a bad thing, so that's definitely going on one of them.

Now have this hauntingly beautiful piece by Summoning, the real magic starts after seven minutes :D

The instrumental started, and it made me optimistic, but the voice was a no for me.
The choir bit was good though.

Yeah, the vocals aren't the best, but honestly, I can't imagine any others, they just fit so perfectly with the rest of it.

Well, I got my 8-year-old brother into Simon Swerver.

He won't stop listening to Danger Room and I think I might go insane.

KILL la KILL - Before My Body Is Dry (Tomatomerde Remix)

Listened to this 23 times in a row on repeat while playing Diablo 3 for a bit. Good remix. The crescendo bass drop is cray.

Resolve.

So I found this really cool channel that has a bunch of amazing and chill piano based instrumentals. The one linked is probably my favourite.

What's a good (preferably free) DAW that I can start making simple beats with samples with? I have Podium free, I just need to install it.

whenever someone asks about a free DAW I always recommend Audacity. I've heard good things about it, although I have minimal experience with it myself, but it's free, so who can complain.

Alright, thanks. I've had similarly minimal experience with it, but I never got too in depth and I just assumed it was a more elementary mixing software.
