I'm not yet sure what to think of the newest Crystal Castles track Deicide. I mean I'm really happy they're back, especially when they showed that with Frail. I think I'm just gonna wait and see what happens (what else can I do, eh?).

Nobody does twangy, psychedelic surf-tinged feel-good garage rock like Texas, apparently.
Another great Texas band- these guys I've actually seen before when they came to Australia. Hopefully I get to see both these bands next month.

... every once in a while, I run into a bit of rap that's entirely too amusing. Link includes mortal kombat gameplay footage, so... yeah. Can find a download here, as well, along with the rest of an album it's on.

And for an entirely different sort of vocal work... a short an' silly a capella number whose name translates as "The Cricket". There's actually a cleaner version in Civ IV's music folder, if anyone has the game and is interested in the song :V
