Streetlight Manifesto - The Hands that Thieve (Full Album)

This is cool. Swing orchestra or something, but it's fun to listen to.

Wow that is GOOD.

This starts off weird, then it gradually becomes more and more trippy until it final enters the surreal "I can see forever" enlightenment territory.

Hmm... I would like to toy with something like this a bit. Wonder what'd it sound like if you layered a simple chord progression with a 4/4 rhythm like that. Or hell, something like 13+6/8. Though there is a distinct possibility that doing the latter would summon Cthulhu or something. Which is to say, I'm totally going to do it.

I don't have a video for it but right now I'm listening to Only In My Tears It Lasts by Tiamat. It sounds pretty, smooth and melodic.

I'm listening to Incubator by Chiasm. It's got a sweet and crunchy melody and rhythm that is fitting for said artist. Most delightful I can assure you. That is, if you like electronic music or the darkwave genre in particular. Otherwise it may not be thine cup of tea.
