Some guy rapping in 11 different accents. Quite funny to hear.

Blockhead is definitely one of the best things in this thread :D

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Gusgus is an icelandic art group, who recently have shifted into music. This is "Add this song".

And my favourite one:

Hateful - Gusgus

Hateful's pretty funny. The tune sounds like a love song, but it's about anger and hate.
Plus it has President Bongo in a bavarian costume.

New Diablo Swing Orchestra leaked a little early. I made the mistake of listening for the first time in public.

I'm not sure when exactly I completely lost it, but somewhere between the blast beats under opera singing and trumpets, random Japanese sections, what seems to be a previously unreleased Muse song and... and... fuckit, just listen to the end of the last track of the album. I'm still not entirely sure I quite believe that one.

That's not even covering half the weird stuff going on in this album, but it's a start. And I love it.

Tee hee hee. A little naughty but nothing even remotely explicit. TV16, maybe.

Anyway. Group that does that has a lot of nice little pieces. Totally rec'd if you have a fondness for limerick-style stuff and related shenanigans.

Also this, the Bantam Cock. Roughly same level of maturity and, fair warning, it's a long song/joke about a randy chicken. Lyrics are within forum's ToS, though, so all should be okay. It's also hilarious.

Quote from: Lyrics snippet
February 8th, 1878
South of Trout Creek, west of Cedar Lake
On a winding mountain trail of the North Pacific Union Rail
The snow arrived on time, the circus train was running late
Rip spot’s past and all the knuckles worn,
Firebox bursting to the running boards
A pounding in his chest, crushing like a cider press
The hogger rode the throttle ‘round the bender like a flank-strapped horse

ELEPHANT [addressing the frightened animal car]:

“Let’s return now to the dust as the dust we are;
tonight, our bridal fate, the hour’s come to consummate!”
And drove her massive body like a truck into the iron bars
Limestone thrown from out the hopper’s back
Ash Cat tossed against the diamond stack
from cradle to caboose, the frozen bolts broke loose,
sent that cage spinning like a dreidel off the icy tracks

When I was little my parents listened to a lot of Yello and I've been reacquainting myself with their work. Most of you will know them from "Oh Yeah" Duffman's theme in the Simpsons. Their music is kind of weird but I love it. Listening to this album right now. Anyone else into their stuff?

I have also been listening through all of David Bowie's stuff.

Glad to be getting back into regular music listening again :).
