A local band who I am happy to have seen several times. They have an album coming out some time in the autumn.
I like how it's 2000's thrash, but doesn't, you know...suck horribly.
Pretty much, yeah. Their manager is a pretty cool guy, he was handing out free copies of their debut EP after they played at The Lamp in Hull on the basis that the album was coming out in ~ 2 months.

It sounds more like thrash than death or groove or doom or power or something.
They're just about more tharsh than anything else, but having talked about it, they're somewhat influenced by some groove, doom and death metal bands.
