The lyrics are more like 17th-18th century norwegian. I refuse to believe that the band wrote the lyrics themselves though. First of all a metal band wouldn't get something that poetic onto a piece of paper, secondly they're pronouncing some words wrong. Probably some old poem they dug out somewhere.
