 Gojira - Vacuity

I don't know if I posted this, but god I love this song. It's progressive metal of the heavier variety, but this song has a somewhat doomy feeling. Impossibly catchy rhythm and tempo, nice repeating verse, solo that's not very technical, but fits and enhances the feeling of the song by a lot, meaningful lyrics...

Edit: Also one of the actually good things to come out of France.

Probably my favourite song from The Way of All Flesh! :D
It's good, but I think I like From Mars to Sirius more, as a whole.

And for something completely different..
The luv(sic) series! Produced by Nujabes (at least the first 4 parts.. :( ), with lyrics by Shing02! Some hip-hop I love.
Luv(sic) pt. 1
Luv(sic) pt. 2
Luv(sic) pt. 3
Luv(sic) pt. 4
Luv(sic) pt. 5 (remix)
I like pt 1, 4 and 5 the most!

 I feel completely the same.

You know the feeling when you find a song you haven't heard by an artist you have been listening to for a long time and go all "why haven't I heard this yet"? Well, yeah. Meshuggah - Closed Eye Visuals (Metal)

Edit: Also I need more heavy progressive metal. Suggestions?

Hmm, don't know a whole lot of bands from that genre.
You may have heard of these, but hey. This is the place for posting good music!
Some might not be all that heavy though.

ISIS: ISIS - Celestial (The Tower)
Edge of Sanity: Edge of Sanity - Crimson
It's made up of a lot of parts - part 1 ends at about 4:52.
Opeth: Opeth - Blackwater Park

Just got my copy of European Jazz Trio - Japanesque.

Feels delicious. They've got enka and several pop classics on there.

If you know the song "Ellie, My Love" by Ray Charles, which was actually based off a Japanese song, they have a fantastic rendition of it in there. Bass is oh so good.

I imagine even people that don't normally like jazz would enjoy the album, since it's very melodic and quite relaxing.

Okay, I guess this one helped too.
It's just so damned catchy.

And what the hell, have some more pillows.

Easily one of their best songs, and most definitely one of my favourites.
I think it's the chiptune bits.
And, of course, the rest of the song, but those really add to it.
