The Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door playlist is pretty damn awesome. It all sounds even better than in the actual game when i played it too, which makes me wonder what other gamecube games' music sounds better on Youtube.

What Ive recently been listening to when I just shut off my brain is the newer killer instinct soundtrack.

For as formulaic as each song is, there are several I really enjoy.

Ive always been a sucker for chanting, and some also do that

They dont blow my mind or anything, but they are solid examples of good composition I feel.  They have simple lyrics, which is appropriate for what they are.  Maybe somebody else will appreciate it.  Anyone know if the newer KI was any good?  I played the old one enough.

This song is bloody lovely, with its sad slide and soft mandarin tremolos, but I highly recommend the whole album.   
Well, I'm only halfway through my first listen of said album, but it's already a winner.    


Trying to get some serious music-listening in, today, since I haven't been doing as much of that as I'd like lately.
I also re-installed Spotify on my PS4 so's I can multitask and listen to a heap of new tunes whilst kicking the yanks out of the Pacific or crushing rebel scum beneath my shiny boots or dying horribly en route to the nuclear throne or whatever.   


Edit: oh lawd, I didn't known Norwegian country could be so delightful. Actually I dunno if I've ever listened to a country song from Norway before...
