Kinda reminds me of Buckethead riffs. Final Wars Baseball Furies & Oakridge Cake all have a similar sorta vibe. Check out the whole Elephant Man's Alarm Clock album if you haven't, it's good. That being said, Buckethead has tons of different sounding compositions, uses various different effect pedals, and can get really technical and shreddy, where Drone Hunter describes themselves as minimalist.

Still, Buckethead is amazing. If you somehow I haven't listened to him then you should give it a listen. Another band Drone Hunter reminds me of is Russian Circles.

Epic-tier Slavic folk metal. A song about a dude who leaves his homeland to search for happiness, and travels through various countries, with fragments in the languages of those countries, by metal bands from them. Heidevolk is in there! The lands (and bands) are, in succession, Sweden (Månegarm), Lithuania (Obtest'), Latvia (Skyforger), Germany (Menir), and the Netherlands (Heidevolk). Also paintings! And coherently - translated English lyrics! I am impressed. I mean, wow. Usually, Slavic folk tends to be Vikernes - style ill in the head, and this is a welcome counterexample.
