Shameless plug of a cover of Everlong by a couple of buddies of mine. Sounds really good, music starts at ~1:40

Metamorphistopheles has a progression unlike anything I have heard. The way the melody at 1:17 completely changed with just the addition of a cowbell and piano stings was... man, it's cool.

I love experimental stuff.

Deftones' cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man. I may like this slightly more than the original.

also more Deftones.
Deftones - Change (In the house of flies) (Acoustic)
Deftones - Black Moon Did not expect rap in my Deftones' cd but it actually works quite well together.

Castlevania: The Nocturnal Cantata

A rap-opera album about the fight between Alucard and the dread vampire Dracula, with the lost Richter Bellmonte and his young sister Maria searching for him somewhere in between. Depressing af, and it's a rap album that tells a Castlevania story. Give it a listen, you won't regret it.

More great weird stuff: (We wanna be) Dog like Sparky, by the Cardiacs. Never heard of them before this, but I'll keep listening!

I can't even describe this sound, apart from... psychedelic English punk? So many interesting sounds, with some neat technical stuff going on with the meter and foreground/background. Don't know what the lyrics are getting at, but I think it's partially written from a dog's perspective? Maybe comparing a god to a dog, or faith itself as dog-like? Or making the argument that worshiping and emulating a dog is better than worshiping or emulating the behavior of God?

Whatever the case, it's strange and bombastic enough to make me really happy just by listening.
